A nice place to visit when the weather is good. No proper play area for the kids, but there is a small woodland area with balancing beams, a wooden car, etc. to play around on. The food at the cafe is nice. The tour was very good - and children were free!
Something different to do whilst the weather held out. Decided to do the Jubilee trail which was good and the younger boys seemed to enjoy that. Shame the Mill wasn’t open though, would have been happy to have done that. Travelled a long way for not much- but that was my reading!
Well worth a visit, cafe has a great selection of food , even breakfast served till 11am. Also takeaway drinks, lots of seating. Mill is open for tours on Thurs & Fri, the gardens are well designed with flowers, herbs and examples of wheats that are used in the Jordans tasty breakfast cereals. Shop also has great local gifts, produce, plants and Jordan cereal and other cereals at good prices. Also a surprise 70th jubilee trail for all the family to enjoy. On the scenic bridge to the mill spotted a Egret on the river Ivel. 2 Car parks at the mill and both free of charge.
Lovely place to see the history of the Mill & its processes. Provides a wide range of the lovely Jordans cereals at a discounted price. Well worth a visit.
Great place to have a walk around, shop products from local producers, have a tour in the actual mill and finally to have a coffee, snack or meal at the restaurant! Very pleasant and very friendly and helpful staff!!!!
Lovely gardens, cafe and shop. A pleasant afternoon. Will return for guided tour of the mill. Shop sells lovely cake
Beautiful place and beautiful flowers lots of woodland , had something to eat was OK. Good for families day out.
A nice place to visit, cafe is open and is now doing hot food. We had the Sunday roast which was great. Coffee and cakes are good looking out over the river. You can have a walk in the gardens. Unfortunately the museum isn't open and no tours, but have a look in the shop for some interesting items to buy.
Nicely kept always enjoy having a wander through the little garden area. The restaurant is still running a scaled back service as on the end of the covid pandemic. We had cake and drinks sitting on the balcony overlooking the mill race, tables are kept nice and clean and are makes when sanitised from the last customer. They still have a small mill shop but you can no longer buy a bag of Jordan's milled flour which we thought was a bit of a shame as it is a working mill that can be toured.
Nice cafe and outside eating area overlooking River.... the shops is really nice....
