We had a flat roof installed as part of an extension and the roof was leaking within a few months probably would have leaked earlier, but the weather did not put the roof to test until later. It was clear that the leak was due to poor design and workmanship. Our mistake was that we let the builders design and carry out the flat roof installation; assuming that they know what they are doing, rather than contract the job out to flat roof specialists. The roof looked nothing like a fibre glass roof; it was a right mess both in terms of functionality and appearance.nnWe experienced months of stress to find a solution. We tried to get the builders back in to sort it out; only to find that they just added layers of black tar like solution making it worse and then not picking up our calls. We also contacted other builders and handymen who came and viewed the job, but we were not convinced by the solutions offered most likely would have been short-term.nnThis is where Jones & Woolman come in as a team of 'knights in shining armour', re-instilling hope when all else failed. When we came across them we instantly had a feeling of positivity and were sure that they will find a solution for us. Rightly so; from the first point of contact, to the first consultation and then taking on the job and completing it, the team delivered as promised. Communication was excellent at each stage and as well as offering a solution Jones & Woolman abided by the scheduled set; demonstrating great professionalism. Upon seeing the completed job, the level of expertise offered by Jones & Woolman was self-explanatory.nnSo far the roof has been watertight for three weeks and hopefully it will remain like this. With Jones & Woolman you have the added bonus of a 25 year warranty which is given to you straight after the last inspection; if you have any problems they will come and sort it out, total satisfaction is guaranteed. I worked for this company and they out my life in danger. The supervisor who i was sent to work with would drink cans on the roof and then drink 4 cans on the way home while driving the van. This company is not professional at all, the wrong products were being used specifically to cut time down on jobs and they also expect you to work without as the law states 11 hours between each shift
OK, so you are like me. You have a problem with your roof, and all you really know is that it has to be fixed before things get too serious. You may think you know what the solution is – but be honest. This is a job for experts, not for the handyman who works out of his van. He may sound convincing and he will promise you a lower price. He may even be able to solve the problem for a while, but then it comes back.nnYour only solution is to get the experts in. Your first meeting with them will be with senior member of staff, and the final inspection of the work will also be the same person. From the first phone call, friendly, efficient and professional, to the end result, friendly, professional and efficient. I would highly recommend this company. The initial visit was professional and the discussions regarding the roof assessment, understandable. The workman arrived very promptly, were professional in their attitude and carried out the required work efficiently and tidily. They removed all waste either generated by themselves or caused by the original fault. Although the weather, so far, has not put the roof to the test, I am reassured by the prompt supply of my 25 year guarantee.
You do not want to be dealing with Neil Boylan as he will make things up just to try and save his own back.nGood job there jobs come with 25 years warranty expect them to be back roughly once a year. That's what I know from just 2 months employment.
