What a great find. Its off the beaten path located near the Mayflower Marina. We were met by a very gracious host who quickly showed us to our seats. This is the second time I've been here in 3 days. Normally I'd order off the menu however this time I chose from the chalk board specials. I started with a very delicious fish soup with a creamy savoury sauce. The follow up meal was a delightful salad avocado, mango, snap peas and other additions topped with local prawns. Delicious. Desert was what I consider an authentic " Sticky toffee pudding" made with dates and date sauce. Excellent. I rarely give a 5 rating but this gastronomical delight was well worth it. A modest facility with very tasty dishes. I will be back.
Lovely cool glass of pinot and a refreshing beer for the other half. Spot on service with a welcome smile. Clean and a delightful place to be in. Home made fish finger sandwiches on brown for him and salmon sandwich with cream cheese for me. Frsh, tasty and very satisfying. Compliments to the chef. Walk to the little beach after and view the array of boat life.
A fantastic place to visit, good lay out, excellent food, great service and plenty of food. A little pricey but for the quality of food and good service it was worth it. Well done for getting this place spot on in every area..
Amazing restaurant with absolutely superb food. This has become my go-to spot especially when I get visitors from up country as it really shows the best of local produce. Parking: Limited disabled spots but plenty of parking with flat walk to restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: There is drop kerb access with a ramp up to there outside seating area. I'm ambulatory so have stepped my wheelchair in the main door but I do belive they have ramp access too.
In campavan so concerned where to park as their carpark pretty full and not alot of space for a 6.3 metre long vehicle, but found a space to park as you carry on road by marina. Food really good and staff very friendly and helpful. Give it a 5/5
Went for Sunday lunch today. Staff very friendly and a relaxed atmosphere. On arrival staff did not know where to seat us. Ordered the roast beef, the plates and food were stone cold. The carrots were practically raw and the cauliflower cheese was tasteless. We made the staff aware of this. My children ate from the child's menu, where you should have got a free drink, we never received a free drink. My dessert was a cold brownie, it should have been hot. My dad's crumble, lacked crumble. Very disappointed in the lunch and will not be returning. Over heard staff saying that other customers were complaining about hard veg and that kitchen staff had walked out. Not really what you want to hear.
Delicious, friendly, nice ambiance - the minute you step in you feel welcome
Such a friendly place, nothing much to look at from the outside, don’t be put off, its lovely inside, in the winter there are log burners blazing and you always get a warm welcome even if you have four legs! Good tasty food, always changing specials on the board, and plenty of it served to you with a smile. Parking right outside is fine in all but the busiest times. Recommended
Found this little gem before coming home. Lovely atmosphere, the service was impeccable and the food absolutely delicious! Great gluten free choices including gf vinegar! The location was fab too! If we come to Plymouth again, will definitely visit!Food: 5/5
Delicious food. Had fish and chips and then toffee cheesecake for dessert. Staff were lovely and friendly. Would highly recommend this for a place to eat in Plymouth.
