Had a great family lunch here - with nine people. Unfortunately the kitchen was understaffed for the number of people eating so we had a wait of over an hour for our food. The manager gave us a round of drinks to apologize. Loved the puddings - the banoffee pie was to die for.Service: 4/5
Dinner was very nice, beer selection could have been better but people behind the bar were very friendly and attentive. Room was nice and cosy with good selection of teas and biscuits. Location is random but great for what I needed. Breakfast was only so-so and felt the bloke serving looked a bit grumpy when servingRooms: 4/5
I can highly recommend a stay here. The rooms are light and airy, clean and fresh and their food is good. I used to live in the area and have had many excellent meals with them spanning over 8years. Walkability: Lovely area for walks Food & drinks: Good
Comfortable, warm room with all the associated facilities. Lovely breakfast served by a rather hassled chef who had been let down by the previous staff - tables not set, missing cups, etc. Would definitely go againRooms: 4/5
We went to this place about 3 weeks ago for Christmas lunch, the food was absolutely disgusting, congealed, Garvey the turkey was not proper turkey and the roast potatoes Must have been cooked the day or so before and it was freezing cold plus the sausages were inedible as they were raw, not at all fit for human consumption. Never again would we set foot in that place again, I value my good health to much for an experience like that.
Great room and very nice bathroom, comfortable bed, good selection of drinks in the room. The only downside in my eyes was the very bright green glow from the emergency light in the bedroom, also for taller people...the shower head was fixed at chin height, my chin height, so it wouldn't affect everyone. Food in the pub was great, good service too and great selection of drinks

Only had a pint and a packet of crisps but it looks like a nice pub and the toilets were clean and tidy. I will be visiting again
My local pub, under new management with new carpet and very nice too. The pub has rooms but I haven't had a reason to use them yet, always seem to be booked up though.Service: 5/5
It was very cold while we were sitting there having lunch and one of the radiators was not working . It would have been appreciated if more vegetables were offered with the fish dish.
