Unfortunately, I've eaten here for the last time. Over the last 6 months, and roughly 10 meals, I've got a hair in my food 3 times. I'm all for supporting local businesses, that's why I kept going back but I just can't anymore. A little bonus being, it took over an hour for delivery on a Wednesday night.
Ordered a large gravy chip and got one of the smallest portions I've ever seen, I'd recommend they rather spend less money on wrapping/packaging and more on food! Spuds aren't that expensive, this is Ireland after all, right?
This is a very popular chippy, good quality food & good portions. The staff are helpful and do their best even when they are bisy.
My fiancee and I ordered our dinner online through the Johnny whites website. We ordered at 6pm last night. We still had not received our food by 7.20pm. We rang the shop to see where the delivery was as we assumed it was busy. We were told that our dinner had not even been processed as they had not checked the online orders. I thought that the online was to be more convenient. Not too impressed.
"Zinger burger meal" was not worth £6 i wouldve got more in a kfc snack box... chicken fillet was tiny, didnt even fill the bun. Portion of chips with meal wouldve fit in burger box under bun. Also asked for no sause and it got drowned in sweet chilli. Would rather drive to Belfast next time.
Staff not very efficient to busy talking to there friends instead of doing there work meaning that the food was cold and not very good would not go back
Went in at 925 on a 10pm closing.. was met at the door with a man shaking his head and ofcourse the first thing we went to order they were out of... Im Im retail to so understand people want to get home, but if you are open.. you should be willing to provide the service.. wont be back due to how incredibly rude the staff were!
I use Johnny whites when I'm in Ballyclare good food and quick service food pourion are good.
Just got a chicken fillet burger. Tasted like rubber. Over cooked was more salad than chicken. Will never be back. Chips were cold.
Fast delivery. Perfect food. Everytime.
