I went there for christmas dinner held by university. The food was fancy and delicious, we have soup as appetizer, turkey and bacon as main course and scrumptious mint chocolate mousse. It was fun
Great venue but not really enough toilets when you have 300 delegates
Was there to give a presentation and the conference centre was very accommodating and featured everything that was needed
I attended as a delegate and found this to be a great venue. Relatively easy to get to from town/train/plane. Modern feel with nice and bright rooms. I was particularly impressed by the refreshments ask for fruit kebabs! and the lunches - a great approach where you take what you want with the view that you don't waste anything and instead to back for more as many times as you want. I'd highly recommend it.
A perfectly nice conference event space
Excellent conference facility, well run
Had a fantastic three day conference only down side was i asked for halal food and was not provided it even though they asked me before the conference. The location is easy to get to with fantastic b and b near by. Food and drinks provider were of good quality and quantity.
Nice place, good catering, Arthur's Seat provides a stunning backdrop
Pretty typical conference centre - big rooms, corporate food/coffee. Food has got better recently, and the IT systems and projectors are good. Though it's in the middle of a big student accommodation campus, you wouldn't know it inside. Great views of Arthur's Seat!
I booked this and it.. 1. Turned out they had been passing on unsubstantiated gossip about us for fourteen years. 2. Because of that, they treated us in a discriminatory manner by making us do things they did not require of other groups. 3. Unacceptable and unannounced access fail. 4. Failure to hold other groups onsite to their contracts, allowing them to engage in behaviour from 'unreasonable' to 'actively unlawful' against my attendees without any consequence to them. 5. After charging us a substantial sum to have our own bar, charged us higher prices in it than one they knew by that point was unsafe for our attendees while offering us less choice, including of soft drinks. 6. Acted in a way that lead us to genuinely fear retaliation if we complained publicly. 7. No discount offered for all this epic, epic fail. Never ever again.
