These guys are great . Very easy to work with they cremated my mother over the xmass period but still performing as expected and beyond great service with dignity and respect. A very professional service. Very friendly and very helpful made my first time experience of organising a death of a close one so simple when I thought it would of been so difficult. From the very start of planning my mothers funeral to the service on the day I was looked after by Lorraine. She was always available to offer her professional assistance and advice and her attention to detail was invaluable. Many thanks to everyone at John Bardgett and Sons.
My Wife sadly lost 2 cousins within 7 weeks of each other, Bardgetts handled both funerals. Lorraine from the start could not have been any more helpful, nothing was to much trouble. Great service.
I would have no hesitation in recommending John Bardgett and Sons. They were diligent, considerate, respectful and professional throughout the organising of my mum’s funeral service. Sam was especially personable and I trusted her recommendations, although everyone I came across was excellent. I would not go anywhere else now that I have experienced their incredible service.
Loosing a loved one is never easy but when its surrounded by difficult circumstances, the whole scenario can easily become all encompassing and bewildering to say the least. Mark and the team at John Bardgett & Sons managed all elements of my Mums funeral with total precision, understanding and compassion, making an awful experience as good as it can possibly be. Based upon our experience, I would have no hesitation at all in recommending this company to anyone who finds themselves in need of their services. Sincere thanks again to Mark, Natalie and the rest of the team.
Absolutely seamless experience from start to finish. Although we live 100 miles away from Newcastle, just one visit in person was all it needed for Mark to set up all the arrangements, and follow-ups by email and phone were all handled swiftly and expertly. The service was supervised by Mark with just the right blend of decorum and friendliness, and was led remarkably well by celebrant Allison Hayter . We were impressed by the completeness of the offer, which included details like order-of-service design and printing, plus online streaming - a great thing for a scattered family. Strongly recommended: you won’t go wrong with this firm.
I would recommend this firm of undertakers to anyone. We have used them for family funerals for decades. They are professional and respectful whilst still being friendly and approachable. Every detail is checked and double checked to make sure that the wishes of the deceased and their family are carried out. I have just had a phone call from them to let me know my Dad is in their chapel as they didn't want me to go into the New Year without knowing where he was. Absolutely outstanding service. I would not go anywhere else.
Everything from start to finish was excellent from here. Lorraine was the director who looked after us, and I can't fault her service one bit. Professional and personal. I had dealings with Natalie too, who was just as good, helping in the process of sorting the order of service and music choices, she also was a great help and comfort when myself and family visited my dad in the chapel of rest. Lorraine looked after my dad for the extended time he was in the chapel and was in constant contact with me the whole time, spending time with us to sort out arrangements, guiding us in the process and being patient with our choices and decisions as well as phone calls to see how everyone was doing and updates on my dad. For such a difficult time, Lorraine and the team made everything easy. On the day of the funeral, the limo driver had a striking resemblance to my dad, Lorraine out of courtesy warned us of this and prepared the family for what could have been not a very nice situation. If this is the service everyone gets they deserve medals for their efforts.
I had to organise the funeral of my aunt from far away. Samantha Rutherford at John Bardgett talked me through all the various points needed. We were sent brochures through the post as well as on line. Samantha kept in regular contact with us and the service was excellent.
I cannot speak highly of John Bardgett & Sons Funeral Directors. They were supportive, respectful, very professional and provided a first class service for my Nanna's funeral.
