Amazing place to visit, hidden away a tad off the main through path/road, but defo worth scouting out.nLovely atmosphere, and friendly staff, with delicious food, and lovely presentation!nPartner and I loved it, and would definitely recommend and hope to visit again ourselves!
This café is absolutely splendid! We went there for brunch today. The service is amazing and our food and drinks came very quickly. Everything was delicious. Thank you very much - we will be back shortly to try the afternoon tea!
I feel sad posting this. I have used this lovely Tearoom for years. Staff, politeness, helpfulness, food is very good. However, afternoon tea for 4 people came to £160. Quite a bit leap from what I used to pay here. I would say it has gone from a regular visit there price wise to a place you would only go for luxury or special occasions and to be honest I have found a lot of other afternoon teas for a lot less.nEverything in the photo and a few cups of tea came to £160.
Lovely little place with nice decor. Afternoon tea was faultless although experience was let down by the service. I have pre booked for 4 adults plus highchair. We have arrived and our table which had no highchair. Staff had to ask at other tables whether they could take theirs away which had also happened to us mid through our afternoon tea. My first drink was given to me wrong 3 times, second drink never turned up. No baby changing facilities which was really upsetting considering that when booking was made we were not made aware of this. I was although offered by a nice waiter that he could push 2 chairs from restaurant together for me in the toilet which I have politely declined. If you want a nice afternoon tea and don't care for the service then I'd recommend but definately not suitable with baby. Won't be visiting again.
Dropped in for breakfast with my wife and a friend. Happily accommodated 2 pushchairs and 2 babies. Service was fairly quick, with warm smiles. The breakfast was generous, with nice ingredients used - 1 star was dropped for lack of seasoning on anything. But everything was cooked nicely. Beautiful decor and great music! Will be back.
