I have recently had JMG totally rip out my bathroom and put in a new one including replacement floor and ceiling. They were very helpful in helping me obtain my vision. I used them upon recommendation as they had done a very good job for my niece awhile ago. Family run business. Very on the ball. A good range of bathrooms to choose from I was spoilt for choice. The installation service was very good. Christina very helpful and Martin was very friendly and continued to visit and check on the progress. Yes I would recommend them particularly if you want to be the envy of your friends. Only wish they did kitchens too !!

Christina helped me design what was quite a difficult space.  Also, their large showroom lets you see a good range of choices.  I was very pleased with the service and design ideas.

Absolutely excellent service from start to finish. Staff were incredibly helpful and efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and use them again myself.

Incredibly rude after sales service from the owner.

I ordered what I believed to be a solid stone work surface, described it as such to my fitter... who politely explained, if it was solid stone,  that they wouldn't have the right tools to cut out the circular sink insert in order to fit it. I phone JMG to ask for pointers, and was put through to Martin. His initial response was that it was a simple job, standard wood cutting tools would suffice, any self respecting fitter should be able to do it... my fitter wasn't convinced, so I asked Martin if he could possibly (for a fee of course, and when convenient/available) cut the work surface for me, or failing that, put me in touch with somebody that could.

He then embarked on a ridiculous tirade about how he was just too busy, that it was ridiculous for me to expect him to drop everything, that it was my fault/my problem. There was absolutely no attempt what so ever to address the problem/issue, purely a continual stream of all the things he wouldn't or couldn't do, punctuated with insults at my choice of fitter.

I subsequently spent the afternoon phoning a number of other kitchen fitters and solid stone worktop suppliers, all of whom gave me the same answer as my fitter, that solid stone needed specialist cutting equipment, that it couldn't be completed on site, would need to be taken back to a workshop.

I eventually phoned the supplier, Roper Rhodes. They politely listened, then just as politely explained that my work surface was actually composite, and could indeed be cut using the same tools and methods as a standard work surface, they also sent through a PDF with full instructions and details to back it up.

So, it was a simple misunderstanding/mistake on my part that lead to the question and request for help.... had Martin made half an effort to listen, he may have picked up the mistake, it could have been corrected in an instant. Instead, he chose to be both rude and dismissive, and seemed quite comfortable hanging me out to dry.

Exceeded Expectations

I visited 4 Plumbers Merchants and 4 Bathroom shops prior to going to JMG Bathrooms, with a view to having a brand new bathroom. I learnt a lot and saw a lot but had met with general indifference from them all. As soon as I walked in to JMG Bathrooms I was met by Christina Guidery with a warm and friendly smile. She showed me around the extensive showroom and, basically, what Christina doesn't know about Bathrooms is not worth knowing. Her overall knowledge is outstanding and her advice is invaluable. She is incredibly patient as I changed my mind a few times and asked the same questions more than once. Nothing is too much trouble as she changed the Bathroom Plan yet again.
A few days later, her husband, Martin Guidery, came to my house and assessed my bathroom and measured up everything possible to measure. He is an exemplary Project Manager - very organised and with everything delivered as it was required. He overcame any problems in a calm and professional manner and found a quick solution to resolve the situation. i.e. tight twist on my staircase.
This family run business has been a pleasure to do business with. Christina and Martin are aided and supported by Martin's two children, Lydia and Tom, both of whom are a credit to JMG Bathrooms.
This review would not be complete without mentioning Artur who is their exceptional, accomplished and skilled Bathroom Fitter who does everything in a meticulous manner with resplendent results.
