Went here for the first time yesterday, where do I start it was amazing from the service from the lovely lady behind bar to the excellent food and great atmosphere. They have an array of oriental dishes aswell as a wide selection of drinks. My favourite options was the sushi some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. The food was regularly being filled and was always kept fresh. They also offer lots of desert options which were a nice surprise. Overall I was extremely impressed by this restaurant, would recommend.
We went on a Sunday for lunch, 2 adults, we each paid £22.95. The week prices are way better, what we paid was really not worth it.nnThis was probably the worst Asian/Chinese food we ever had. There was not much variety but the biggest problem was that the food was old, dried, oxidated, looked like it has not been changed in many hours. Due to the lack of freshness we decided not to taste any of the sushi which was limited anyway. It felt like a collection of leftovers with ready meals you can buy from Tesco, not worth close to £50.nThe deserts had no taste, with fake colouring and very stale, oxidated and tastes. Most of the deserts were cheap squirty cream type 'pudding'. The drink machine which you have to pay more for was out of several drinks see how watered down the coke was. The serving areas needed a clean.nThe employee that seated us was nice, however, despite the fact that the restaurant was almost empty, they sat us in a booth with a massive cut across it see picture.nnOverall, we paid over £50 pounds, the food was unappetising and I felt a bit ill afterwards. Can get way better Asian food via any food app. If you cannot keep food fresh on Sundays, I suggest you reduce your price. With £23 you can actually get a decent meal in other places. If the food was fresh and diversified, prehaps £13 per person would make sense but not £23.
Went at 1pm. With blue light discount and unlimited soft drinks was £96 for 4 adults, £24 a head. It’s like cosmo but more on the Asian side. Not as much choice but I think concentrating on a smaller variety is better quality. The fresh cook station did a lovely steak, the tom young soup is one of the best I’ve had! A couple of dishes were lacking a bit of flavor, the chicken curry tasted like the curry sauce was a bit watered down, they have a separate curry sauce I didn’t try. The deserts alone you could make a whole meal from! Proper cheese cake, good choice of ice cream. Mango icecream was really nice. Big variety of cakes, jelly’s and mouses. Ultimately it’s the only buffet in Fareham so if you like a buffet you have to go. My fussy nephew had plenty so you won’t have a problem with kids. In fact the young kids I saw were having fun helping themselves especially the deserts. Plenty of seafood choices. Great value for a big eater like me, not so much if you’re not.
I went on a very hot day and everyone appeared to be suffering from the heat. The AC may not have been working as it was pretty hot in there despite minimal sun and windows. A good selection of your favourites that you would expect at a Chinese/Asian buffet and free refills on soft drinks is always a plus...nPlenty of seating. Waited a few minutes at the door to get in but found plenty of tables available once past reception. I'm putting the delay down to my bad timing arriving immediately behind a group of about 20 students who all wanted to pay separately.nThe food I had was good. The only reason for the drop to 4star was because there were a few dishes I wanted to try that were empty each time I went back to get some.
It’s my first time come to eat in this buffet. My friends recommended to me. The lamb ribs is my favourite and also chocolate fountain with marshmallows. Each staff is so kind and welcoming. I definitely will come back next time.
