Over a hour and thirty minutes beef curry was cold and congealed chips Hong-Kong style chicken in sweet and sour sauce was cold and congealed when I rang to complain they didn't accept it as pictures of the beef curry show its all congealed and cold and the rice is Appalling disappointed waste of £35 pounds
The food was so delicious! The nicest Chinese takeaway we've ever had. It was steaming hot when it arrived and everything tasted so freshly made. Delivered in less than the time estimated and it's so worth the money!
I had 2X beef curry's got home it was nothing but grease. I chucked it away. If you like grease and fat that's the place you need to call. The employed staff did not a have a clue what too do.
Good customer service and fast deliveries. The price for the amount of food you receive is worth the time. A lot of options on the menu to choose from or you can always customize to your own liking.
Took a long time for delivery, a lot longer than stated. Food had good flavours but the Duck, well I had never seen anything like it, looked as if it had been put on to cook and forgotten about.
Very poor food and customer service was even worse! Ordered food on there app and received a confirmation email Waited an hour and a half and still no food delivered so after a phone call to see where our food was the reply was we don't have any order for you, no sorry nothing! We were told that it would be looked into and someone would call us back.still no phone call or apology. We have have used Jimmy woks for years but will not do so again!
Used to be a regular customer years ago and now I’ve had the unfortunate reminder of why I stopped ordering from Jimmy Wok! Disgusting slabs of unflavoursome cubed pork blobs in the curry, overcooked pork char Sui in the bbq rice dish and the duck was so overcooked it was like some mummified relic unearthed f on 3000 years ago! My husband paid £8.80 for Jimmy’s spicy Hunan special. The only thing special was the amazing trick of getting that much money out of his pocket for a generic tasting broth with plentiful water chestnuts, two prawns and four other pieces of meat...two of those being the aforementioned dreaded slabs of grey pork matter. Pitiful. Chips are also incredibly overpriced considering the quality and quantity compared to local competitors and the pancake roll was a bean sprout roll...I know we're all trying to cut corners these days but come on, Telford is saturated with Chinese takeaways so at least try to offer customers a decent experience, I hate throwing food and money away and I’ve done both tonight!!
It is an absolute necessity to have tried the food from Jimmy Wok if you live in the Telford area! I have been a regular customer of the Jimmy Wok Take Away for many years, and the reason for this is because they have never fallen short of presenting the highest quality of Cantonese & English dishes. They offer their special chef set dinners that are exceptionally good for value and each offer great combinations of tasty Cantonese dishes that complement each other so well, and the variations between them are to suit everybody's taste. Their range of food is so diverse that it is very difficult to get too familiar with their Take Away food! From Soups, Appetisers, Spare Ribs of Pork, Rice Dishes, Satay Dishes, Curried Dishes, Sweet & Sour Dishes, Chicken Dishes, Duckling Dishes, King Prawn Dishes, Squid Dishes, Beef Dishes, Cantonese Roast Pork Dishes, Egg Fuu Yung Dishes, Chop Suey, Garlic & Wine Dishes, Vegetarian Dishes, Black Pepper Sauce Dishes, Omellete Dishes, Chow Mein Dishes, Sweets, English Dishes, Burgers, Pies, Kebabs and Cold Dishes. The Diversity is great to suit the family Take Away night, this is because most foods that family members may fancy can mostly be found on Jimmy Wok's menu, this is great on saving hastle of having to make numerous trips and orders to other Take Aways. I personally am a fan of mixing their sensational Cantonese dishes with their well-prepared English food. To have already taken care in thinking which combinations would go well with each other, Jimmy Wok have already created a list of meals that mix well found on 'Jimmy Woks Special Value Box' within their menu. Living locally to Jimmy Wok within the Hadley area, i have the delight of easily being able to personally walk to order my food and continuously recieve wonderful customer service from the staff at the business.  All the staff at Jimmy wok are incredibily friendly, polite and very funny, and before i know it my food is done and ready to go. However if under circumstances that a delivery is more efficient for the occasion, no matter the size of the order there is no more than a small £2 charge. This is most certainly worth it as there is a sincere garantuee of how long the food will be in getting to you, and in my experiance it has always been very fast! In conclusion to this review on the Jimmy Wok Take Away, after many years of regular eating from this well established Cantonese & English Take Away. They have now even advanced to the age of online ordering, and after experimenting with this for myself the service has been just as effective as ever! I don't know of a better Take Away, that take such pride in preparing, cooking and delivering their meals. Therefore that is why, if you live within the Telford area, you must try Jimmy Wok!
First time ordering from Jimmy Wok ive heard good things, the service i have just recieved over the phone was quality and awesome and i cant wait to try the food, i will certainly use your services more and recommend you to others
Really nice .. we had sweet and sour chicken balls and chicken chow mein with egg fried rice ... the chow mein was amazing the batter on the chicken balls was really nice too... sound guys serving me aswell i'd highly recommend.
