Came in with a slight hangover to have the wings and chips. They were okay but nothing spectacular. The staff were amazing though. I he bar tender was attentive and a very nice gentleman. Would love to come back for a beer
Came here on a last minute date with a red Irish goddess... Cocktails were tasty and strong , average about 14 euros each so a bit pricey. Bar staff were faultless. A great night
Nice spot for a drink on Camden. Jimmy Rabbitte's has a small front bar and a larger back patio that can be enclosed and heated when the weather isn't nice. I wouldn't consider this one of the finer cocktail bars in Dublin, but it's a nice spot for a good beer or cocktail with a very pleasant ambience.Food: 3/5
Very disappointed with this place! I tried to reserve space for group of my coworkers by contacting them via website - no answer. Then I rang directly - no answer. On arrival in late afternoon to the pub, I was not allowed in by bouncer at the door because I was wearing denim shorts. He made the point that there is a dress code for customers. He was actually very rude "announcing" this to me and whole group. For my liking - too much of testosterone and "steroids" at the front door. Outcome: 20 people left that place including me to more friendly pub down the road. So from now on Whelan's all the way rather than wasting time and visiting this place again. Just to note "Jimmy Rabbitte's" make sure you detail dress code on your website for people so this mistake can be avoided in the future!
We needed some change for the bus and the bartender was very helpful and nice. plus the ambience inside was just amazing. we'll definetely pay a visit next time we're there!Food: 5/5
The bouncer was very rude, he didn’t let our friend in on a Tuesday evening because he was wearing shorts jeans, not even gym shorts. He blamed the management saying this is the management rule but I think he just didn’t like our friend, and he lied.
Lovely atmosphere and decor. Guinness was delicious. Decent smoking and outdoor non-smoking area. Friendly bar man.Service: 5/5
Really nice bar with a huge and excellent drink menu. There's great gin and cocktail choices as well as a range of beers on draft. Good spot for watching a match too. The staff are very accomodating and were able to allow us watch the munster final in the snug at the front of the bar while having the world cup play around the bar. Really cool decor with a great beer garden and friendly staff.
Not too packed on a Thursday night! Great drinks selection - priced well. Cool snug seating area is a must if you are lucky enough to get it! Great addition to the Camden Street boom.
