Although Jetparks Ringway car park is a short drive away from the airport it is very well organised, with a regular free bus service. There are numbered bus stops in the car park so when returning to your car you can get back off at the same one and find your car easily. The rows are also numbered which helps you find your car. The bus does a circuit from the car park to all the airport terminals then back to the car park and has a dedicated bus stop at each terminal. The car park has number plate cameras so entry and exit is simple. The parking areas are not surfaced in tarmac so can be a bit messy after rain. The car park is directly below the planes coming in to land, which is quite interesting and noisy! I recommend this well run car park, which is very reasonably priced if you book well in advance.
I don’t recommend this parking. It’s almost impossible to walk with luggage due to surface. Overpriced massively. All the picking up and dropping off needs better management. While dropping off driver was already collecting new passengers who was going to the airport. The bus was loaded to the maximum with people standing on the walkway and kids on strollers. We were unable to take easy our luggages and leave the bus in peace. Horrible experience.
BRILLIANT, well lit car park. No height restrictions was able to park our 7 metre camper van for the same price as a car. This was peak time during Easter holidays. Free 13 minute transfer shuttle bus to airport arrived quick both ways even at 3am on way to airport 2 busses were parked up ready to go to airport.
We recently used this car park for a 4 night stay. The bus service was good for us, with reasonably short waits each way. On the return journey the driver had to take a short detour to Terminal 3 as a previous passenger had accidentally left his luggage on the bag - the driver explained what he was doing and I thought this was good customer service as I imagine the previous passenger would have been quite stressed if not. The downside of this car park is it is not fully asphalt surfaced. Only the entry, first few rows and some perimeter roads are asphalt surfaced. The other roads and parking spaces only have gravel on them, but a lot of this has now disappeared, leaving behind a boggy, clay mud spaces and roads, with lots of pot holes. Our parking space had flooded when we returned, making it difficult to get to the car. This is not ideal for walking, parking or dragging luggage along and to be honest, for the price we paid, I would have expected the carpark to be fully surfaced. It was also difficult to find spaces on arrival and as there are no lines painted to mark out spaces we saw several cars parked poorly over what would typically be 2 spaces. Really think the owners should invest some of the parking money on properly surfacing the carpark.
Very busy car park that does seem slightly over crowded. Can be difficult to find a space upon entry, however the busses are frequent and you’re at the terminal in a few minutes.
Massive car park but was still difficult to find a space. Waited a while but driver very jolly and helpful. Return journey, had to wait at least 30 mins for bus to Ringway car park. Two buses to Jet Park 3 arrived during that time. Then 2 for Ringway arrived straight after each other which seems poor planning
Avoid at busy times. Buses are infrequent at night 30 mins+ and bus stops on the outer parts of the car park are closed
Left our car here for a week while we went on holiday. Was a decent price approx £110 which was cheaper than others nearby at the last minute and the buses to/from the airport were frequent enough. Only took about 10 mins to get to the terminal, will deffo use again.
The car park is quite big, we parked in the additional parking area. There wasn't any concreted spaces where the cars are parked so you have to drag the luggage over loose stones which is not ideal. The bus stop was not too far and there was a regular shuttle service which was good.
I have used Jet Parks several times and find them very helpful and efficient and my car has never encountered any problems while with them
