I've been a loyal customer of the Jet garage for years, and it's always been a place I could rely on for fuel and a quick refreshment. Been using the Jet Garage for years as the car is always needing petrol and luckily the jet seems to always have plenty.nThe wee shop is packed full of useful stuff and a good selection of food. The staff are always friendly and polite. What's even better is that it's all sold at reasonable prices, unlike their competitors who seem to think that because your driving your purchases should be 3 times more expensive.nThey have a wee microwave for hot food, I personally haven't used it, probably won't but the fact it's available is a bonus.nThe Jet also has all the other facilities needed for a car, including Air, Screen Wash and Jet Washer. The Air is something I use regularly, it's a decent unit easy to use, it would be difficult for someone to do it wrong.nnThe Jet washer is a all-in-one unit with various options. It's fairly cheap, really depends on how quickly it takes you to clean it, I normally chuck in a fiver. Actually money is required to operate it, thankfully the shop will give you change from a Digital payment. I presume the next upgrade will have a card reader attached to further eliminate the need for actual money.nnSo you could end up spending a good hour here, though mostly it's a quicky visit.nn5/5nn
Worst garage I’ve ever been to in my life… waited two weeks for car to be seen for urgent red light coolant leak, only to be told 5 hours after dropping it off that they couldn’t access the bonnet and they didn’t have time to remove a little panel that takes 2 seconds to remove to open the bonnet honestly I wouldn’t recommend this garage to anyone in the whole of Scotland and wouldn’t be surprised if it was the worst in the whole of Scotland. Fine for fuel only.
Good old fashioned business with friendly staff, been using this garage for fuel for around 7 years never had any problems. Coal is ready available at good prices. Much rather support a local business then use the new chain petrol station that's recently opened
I bought diesel here at the end of January 2022. Like an idiot I promptly lost the receipt and I needed this to claim the cost of diesel back. This business saved the day by providing me with a duplicate receipt. Much appreciated! If I’m ever passing through I’ll swing by again. Great service and very friendly staff.
