Yesterday I was verbally abused and a shovel full of snow thrown at my back by the proprietor of jesters of Bungay for using his toilet which I didn't know was for private use only but was going to eat in restaurant after. I am 76 and only out of hospital for 2 weeks ago after decompression operation on my back .beware of this very rude bully

Stopped in on route to taking the children to visit the castle. Very glad we did. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The menu caters for children, vegetarians and my own appetite, not only are the prices very reasonable, the portion sizes are certain to satisfy even the hungriest of explorers. Very happy to recommend this place to all hungry visitors to Bungay. Top tip....the hot chocolate is unbelievable.
