Amazing service! I went there for a picture and the employee helped me with every aspect, he even cleaned the frame photo's glass that I bought from them. The quality of the photo exceeded my expectation and the whole service took around 10 minutes.
Used to be a much bigger store, but down sizing it has made it better. The staff are friendly and approachable, with good knowledge of the products, also happy for you to have a hands on try of them if you want to. Prices are competitive for a high street store, and they offer a trade in option if you have old gear to upgrade which is easier than using the like of eBay etc. Improvements could be made with stock levels, I've been in twice to buy something only to be told I'd need to order it in, it get it from the online store which kind of defeats the point of a physical shop.
Very friendly staff and calm buying atmosphere. Most importantly, they understand the importance of after sales too. In particular, Andy was really helpful with tracing the details of a sensor clean for me despite it only being a £30 sale. He even took the time to email me the documents I requested! Now that's service.
I am only leaving a review to say how great an employee is. On my receipts it says Andrew B. I have been in store a handful of times now with an old SLR 35mm film camera and he has helped me out with it every time with no hesitation, showing me how to load and unload the film, i now know how to do it advising on what film I could buy, setting it up ready to use and take photos and being really helpful when it comes to developing. great guy! this store has definitely got my future custom for developing my films now.
One of few remaining Jessops but very well stocked - lots of kit for amateurs to pros and folks looking for a simple holiday camera etc. They also stock bags, tripods, filters, lighting, studio lighting and more - perhaps not the cheapest vs. online retailers but still great to have them there. I visited to have some photos printed and the set up worked very well - printing quality was good enough - happy to recommend.
Thank you so much. You made my day yesterday after having been badly treated in another camera shop. Extremely helpful staff even though I had not bought the camera from them. Because of their approach, I bought a one to one tutorial. I am sure they are going to help me understand my camera. You have gained a loyal client from now on!
I just got my printed photographs today and they all looked amazing! The lady who works there, Lucy, was incredibly helpful and really knowledgeable. I've been getting my photographs printed at Jessops for years, but she was the first employee to actually go through and edit all my photos to make sure that they would fit properly. She took the time and went the extra mile, which is greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend going to Jessops and asking for Lucy--a very friendly and professional employee!
Max was so helpful. I had a really flimsy napkin on which was a drawing done by my husband. I enquired if they could make a canvas print of it. They could, they did and I am so pleased with it. I'm not really used to self-service printing from my phone. The staff are always ready to help me. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They know their stuff.
The assistant at the shop was wonderful He helped me to get the photo from my phone. I would recommend Jessops if I had not the help. I would by left the without buying what I come for most unhappy. Thank you for helping the old lady. I feel going again to to buy something else. Well done Jessops Mrs Kashmir chander
Extremely rude member of staff has ruined that shop for me. I've been in there previously and staff have been lovely and helpful but one guy with grey hair, well, I've never experienced such sarcasm from a member of front of house staff before in my life. Considering I'm a loyal customer, I shall not be going there again. Equally, the shop has basic equipment but if you're looking for extras like lens filters for alternate sized lenses or anything other than a polarising filter then you'll be out of luck. Utter sky disappointed after years of loyal custom.
