Beautiful escape from a bustling city, completely didn’t expect the beautiful dene and falls with amazing stone bridges, really looks like it comes from a fairytale book. There’s also areas beyond the falls with shallow water and stepping stones that are perfect for dogs or little kids to play in.
Quite a lot of people went there on Sundays. Full of green plants in my eyes. The streams a bit dull as the water folds slowly but the trees are always beautiful. You can find different layers of green through the little forest.
Jesmond Dene Park offers a variety of recreational activities for visitors of all ages. From peaceful picnics on the grassy lawns to leisurely walks and invigorating runs, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Families can delight in the charming petting zoo, which is home to adorable animals, bringing joy and laughter to both children and adults alike.nnOne highlight of my visit was the picturesque Jesmond Dene waterfall. It cascaded gracefully over moss-covered rocks, creating a mesmerizing sight and a soothing soundtrack that added to the park's serene ambiance. It was the perfect spot to sit and reflect, immersing myself in the symphony of nature while admiring the beauty of the surroundings.nnIn summary, Jesmond Dene Park is an idyllic sanctuary that offers a much-needed respite from the demands of modern life. Its natural beauty, peaceful atmosphere, and range of activities make it the perfect destination for nature lovers, families, and anyone seeking solace amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. Whether you're looking for a tranquil retreat, a place to connect with nature, or simply a spot to unwind and recharge, Jesmond Dene Park is a haven that will exceed your expectations.
Such a cute walk. Lovely people walking dogs or with family, everyone friendly. It was such lovely weather and some under shade. Very cute walk and some wheelchair access, there is stairs. Def recommend.
Such a beautiful park. Well worth a visit. I had never been even though I only live 5 miles away. Well worth a visit
