Don't be fooled by its appearance the food here is amazing. I had curried goat, rice and peas and callaloo with a bit of coleslaw. All of it was delicious. The rice in particular was great, creamy and a bit sweet.Food: 5/5
Have gone to this lovely gem a few times now and I must say that the jerk pork and curry goat is so delicious! They’re not stingy with the portion and the food is just super tasty. I read past reviews that said these options used to be in the lunch time special and I would love it if that could possibly be brought back. Overall though, the food is great and I love that they put potatoes in the curry goat . I’m definitely going to be a regular .
Ordered ackee and saltfish for the first time at this takeaway. Lets just say this will be the last time I order from them. Little Gem Use to go here all the time when I was working across the road. Now I live in Hampshire and honestly nothing compares to Jerk Island. The jerk pork belly and rice meal deal is just delicious! Their plantain is spot on. I really miss this place and I can't tell you the amount of times I crave this The ladies working are always so lovely and friendly. I always smelt them cooking even at 7am as I was heading to work. A lot of prep and dedication clearly goes into that shop to produce yummy, fresh food. It honestly is worth the visit if you're in the area. But be warned, you'll get hooked!

Im disappointed. though the food is nice, their portions can be extremely unfair even after spending an extra £2.55 on top of a £9 for a large. They give you lots of rice but exactly the same amount of chicken or meat as a small. We are all coping with the cost of living, stop ripping people off.

The BEST Jerk in Brixton!!! Kerry’s food is consistently amazing! Jerk chicken and pork are must haves!! Side dishes are great and the chickpea curry with dumplings is next level!! The lunch special for £3.50 is a great deal too! We had a party and got the food from Jerk Island and everyone loved it! Anytime people come over now they always want some Jerk Island … saves me cooking.. lol… thanks!!!
5* food I personally do not no why there are negatives here. I work for Thames water so I travel all around London and have done many Caribbean shops food was full of flavour one of the best I have had only downside was the ox tail and jerk wasn't ready so settled for goat and stew but no complaints here lunch deal of £3.50 complete bargain
