The food is really good and not too pricy, unfortunately you will have to buy your rice separate from the actual curry you pick, which in my honest opinion is ridiculous, the jalai curry that was brought is probably the best one they serve, it's made with a sweet mint yogurt and has plenty of flavor, plain boiled rice compliments this dish really well. Pickled onions on top give it that extra crunch. The tandoori chicken was well cooked, on the dry side for my preference. The venue is well laid out and has a very friendly and professional atmosphere. As I didn't eat in I can't comment on the quality of the service. But from the looks of things I would expect a high standard. I would recommend this place for a quiet night. Maybe a romantic dinner.
Best Indian restaurant in Nottingham Derby border. They also provide a brilliant take away service!
10 of us went for grandsons 8th birthday as he has been here before and enjoyed it very much. Food came out to us all at the same time . Beautifully served. Staff attentive . Food all good . If I could recommend one thing it would be please improve your toilets they need bring up to date and I couldn't use the disabled toilet as lock broken and would not stay closed. Would however return again. Thank you .
Had not visited since the pandemic, glad that this restaurant survives and is as delicious and hospitable as ever. Thanks for a great evening and my best wishes to you during these economic struggles for the industry.
Excellent food and service, the food was delicious and not greasy at all. The atmosphere only got a 4-star review as we ate early and the restaurant was empty.Food: 5/5

A lovely Indian restaurant we were there with family the staff were very attentive and were great with the children. The food is of good quality and well presented. They do a little trick with dry ice that the kids love. Well worth a visit
This place is OK, no more no less. A restaurant that is tailored to the western pallete maybe - the food wasn't bad but I've been to better curry places in Nottingham that sell much nicer curries at the same price. However the service was good and restaurant clean, so 3 stars.Food: 3/5
Not a patch on the one at Crich! I had the Makhani and it tasted like tomato purée and had millions of onions in it. My husband had a Balti and had no flavour or spice to it. All Edible, but as I say the one at Crich is better, the main reason we chose to come to this one.
