Had an issue with a bike I purchased elsewhere which required a professional repair, explained the issue and the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I asked some questions to things I'd always wondered about my bike upgrades and potential improvements and they had all the answers and gave me great advise on what to do, never once did they try to upsell or convince me to get unnecessary products. The repair was done with the highest quality service and in quick time. Honestly, any issues, don't waste your time going somewhere else. And honest truth is, had I known the level of service they provide I would have bought the bike from them instead, regardless of price comparable bike was a little more expensive but for that you get the service and advise of true experts.
After purchasing an electric mountain bike from JE James Rotherham around a month ago, I can safely say that if you want a bike that will be ready to rock straight from the shop, these guys won’t disappoint! My first 150 miles of riding have covered varying terrain including some of the roughest I’d want to put my new bike through at Fort William in Scotland and still not one bolt has loosened and the bike is silent. Beyond that, the customer service was excellent and any questions I had too many were answered with clarity and detail despite my late arrival close to the closing time. Thanks again guys!
Purchased 2 electric bikes today my husband & myself, all 3 members of staff were so lovely & helpful. We had visited 4 other bike shops around Sheffield and by far the customer service stood out a mile, also the show room was great! What an amazing asset this shop is to Sheffield. Thank you again for your help and patience with us lol
Purchased an EMTB online that was delivered to store, set up, checked, and then delivered to my door. No issues, great service and friendly too. All as you would expect. And then... whilst playing home mechanic with my previous bike and struggling to remove the cassette with the correct tools I popped in impromptu, not something I like to do. With wheel in hand and asking for some advice the mechanic took five minutes out of his day to remove it and give some advice too. Considering I never mentioned I'd just purchased a new bike from them, this was just good service helping a human out. This will be my LBS for the future. Thank you, especially the mech!
Recently bought a trek from je james great from start too finish let me know straight away my bike was slightly bent at back end and ordered me another within days great communication bike was built spot on and ready too pick up on day said, when I went too pick it up everyone one who works at the rotherham one was very helpful and even helped me put my new bike on my roof bars as I'm on the short side and is a struggle too reach up with out a step lol 10 out 10 all the team very friendly what more can you ask for thanks again
What a superb cycle store. Excellent customer service. After being let down by another shop, Michael at JE James Cycles Rotherham went out of his way to get the bike built and ready to collect in 24hours. Very friendly service, excellent store. Thorough handover with the bike. Highly recommend

Top notch service. Really great deal on the bike and the staff couldn't be more willing to help with the smallest of details. Adam specifically was great in walking me through all the aspects of the bike especially as I'm on the larger side of riders. If I could give a 6th star I would.
I'm really happy with my new road bike. Everyone at the shop was lovely and it was really helpful to get advice from Adam on the best options for me. I tried several bikes and they even built two bikes for me to try. I got a really nice bike and on sale too.
Great experience of buying a Orbea wild H20, went to have a look at 2 bikes I was considering, with no pushy sales I was allowed to ride both bikes around the shop. After deciding which bike to have I arranged a collection date and completed the handover with Elise who was excellent from start to finish. Well worth the 1 hour 15 drive.
