Decent food at a decent price. Had the turkey dinner here with some sides. No major complaints but the stuffing tastes a bit odd. The service was decent but bar seems to take ages and sometimes food arrives before drinks. You can order on their app, but signal isn't great here so you could use their WiFi. Decent Christmas options but I don't understand why everywhere has gone for cheese this Christmas. Bit boring. Side note, small plates used to be 3 for £10, now it is 3 for £15!
I come here once a week for breakfast, food is great and served pretty quickly.nnHowever each time we seem to come, we have to clear the table and wipe it down. Highchairs are always filthy and unhygienic. I understand at busy times it is hard to clear tables quickly, but it seems to be a thing every single time we come in. Other than that it is one of the better wetherspoons around here.
Food was great with new things on the menu. Service is slow at the bar counter and the one person serving was not checking and taking orders in order that the person arrived.
One of our favourite places to eat as they serve a wide variety of dishes to match every budget. The seats are comfortable and there is an outside sun terrace. Large range of craft beers. Wetherspoons are renowned for good quality food, served in a friendly environment, but it does get busy during lunched and weekends. Orders can be via the app or at the bar. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Better than its sister pub in Great Yarmouth but service can be more than variable at times. Only one person serving at the bar is not good enough. Most of the staff are friendly and talkative but a few could do with lessons in customer service and not trying to be sarcastic. Some of the clientele can be obnoxious and aggressive. Ale quality could be better and they could do with more of the darker real ales.
