I've only just joined the bury one and it said nothing about refurbishment on the website. So half the gym is closed off, and everything is sqaushed together with no room to breathe. It's just waiting for an accident.nWould have been nice to get a heads up before paying the bill.nI also didn't see one staff member to ask for a quick tour.nI was walking around like a lost child trying to find a dip station, and I didn't see any dumbbells either. It looked nothing like the photos.nI don't think I'll be staying here past the monthnnI went for 1 day and haven't been back since so i tried to get a refund because it was within 24hrs. I've now given up on the refund they just bombard you with excuses and instructions.nAwful company
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the gym today. A staff member named Kail was shockingly rude, unprofessional, and displayed a complete lack of customer service skills. As someone who pays for a membership, I expect to be treated with respect, not made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. This level of behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the gym as a whole. I will be canceling my membership immediately, as I refuse to support a place that allows such unprofessional conduct. A gym should motivate and uplift its members, not leave them feeling frustrated and disheartened. I hope management takes this issue seriously and makes the necessary changes to improve.
Good morning. I love JD Gym in bury and it has been my favourite GYM since it opened and so far. The atmosphere is much more friendly then the other gyms in Bury. But recently a member of staff called Kyle came to me and asked me very rudely to put the way back. He was very rude and loud like a baby. I told him I still using it and I will do when i finished with it. The next day when I tried to getting inside, my app wasn't working as he disabled it. I have pressed the green button and stood there but he was watching that I need help but he totally ignored me and I had to go back home. This morning after a few good days I went back and he was staring at me and thinking of he is superhero and he could do what he can. I'm not a type of person to review such a thing but certainly it will help others if they comes across. It is not acceptable at all................... kind regards Sayeed
All the best kit. Nice and clean. Always feel comfortable and everyone is pretty friendly. I've been various times in the day but like early morning best, 6-8am. Its tidier, people are more focused on their workouts and not too crowded. A wonderful mix of age, bodyshape, ethnicity, gender etc, it feels a really inclusive space.nnPlenty of classes on offer and a great team of PT's to keep you on track to achieving goals. I can highly recommend Isobel who I worked with for 12 weeks with incredible results
Just been to the gym this evening for the JD Burn class, to be told they aren’t bothering to do it as there’s not enough people. How can you decide not to put on a class last minute while you have people stood there, when you don’t offer the option of pre booking classes!? You should be prepared to hold the class if there’s 2 or 20 people. If you have it showing on the app and you have the instructor ready to go, in my opinion you should not be cancelling classes on the spot, this is highly inconvenient for those who have turned up and basically shows that you just don’t think it’s worth it if you don’t have a decent turnout- not very fitness positive.nAn absolute wasted journey and very unhappy member!
