I’ve been a member for a long time, I haven’t been in a while.nnWent in yesterday, the gym is ok 10% -15% of the machines are out off order most of the time, but the gym facilities are good.nnMOST importantly I’ve noticed the cleaning of the whole place is shocking!!nnJD you need to employee a professional firm to come do the job properlynnThanks
2 months in and the only great thing about this gym is the classes. Otherwise, equipment in the women section always out of order especially the treadmill which has stopped twice on different occasions while I was on it and I nearly got hurt. One would think management would actually care about their customers getting hurt. Too busy getting all the membership fees in to actually buy new equipment.nnEdit: the treadmill just stopped again, at least this time I was done with my workout. Please just take the treadmill away before it severely injures someone
EDIT: 19/05/2024. trip hazard on floor in dumbbell section.nnEDIT: photos taken on 01/03/2024. Four bars missing.nnLocation and the gym being 24/7 is convenient. The gym has added loads of new machines to accommodate the peak hours so credit to them. However, loads of 20kg bars are still missing from bench racks which doesn’t make sense… surely if you’ve added loads of cable machines you’ll also get some bars in for the empty racks. Machines are always out of order toonnAll staff members are too busy sat in the staff room or hovering over the desk near the entrance at peak hours. I understand that the staff can’t make everyone put weights back BUT It would be ideal if they were near the free weights at that time, monitoring the countless amounts of dumbbells and plates left on the floor by members.
Was moved to the gym after previous gym was closed. By far the worst gym in Bradford. Weights are never put away. Machine constantly broken & leather pads cracking & worn. Equipment misused. Dumbbells 40kg been out of use for over a year broken. Dumbbells as follows have been damaged due to miss use of equipment by other members & out of use; 28kg, 30kg, 32kg, 34kg, 36kg, 42kg, 48kg & 50kg. They have been slammed or chucked around and been out of use for over 2 months now. What is the purpose of a gym if it can’t even provide decent equipment?! The website says they have hundreds of pieces but a third of them are out of use. Equipment never get cleaned properly. Showers only stay on when pressed for 5seconds so needs to be constantly pressed. Changing rooms are not cleaned until the end of the day so it is not very hygienic or full of empty bottles. In my opinion they should of had more eyes in the free weights section as this is where most of the weights are not put away or dumbbells being miss used or they wouldn’t be broken in the 1st place. No action has been taken & if so a little too late. No management on late shift which is a must. Cleaners being told to put weights back in late shifts!
There are massive dips in the deadlift platform which can be dangerous, you have to request the easy bar from the desk and then have staff ask you if you’re going to steal it. Changing rooms make you want to vomit, weights left everywhere.nI do not know who is responsible for this gym but that clown needs to be removed immediately and find someone who will fix these disgraceful problems.
