I was impressed with JBR's workmanship and professionalism and am really pleased with the job they did repairing my roof with new felt and tiles and replacing my eaves, guttering and downpipes. Because of my good experience with JBR, I can recommend this roofing business as one you can trust to do a good job. 

Before they fixed my roof, I already knew I could rely on JBR because they did work for my son last year, after a friend who is a surveyor passed on their details. Also, JBR is one of only two roofing companies in the area that's Trading Standards Approved through the government's “Buy With Confidence” scheme. There's a website where you can check which businesses are approved and see customer feedback. 

All the members of the JBR team were polite, pleasant to deal with and happy to answer any questions I had.

After I made the initial phonecall to JBR, Mr Mitchell, who runs the business, visited my house, gave the roof a thorough inspection and discussed the situation with me. He then emailed me a detailed itemised quotation for the costs of the recommended repairs and for the roof-trim and guttering work I also wanted done because of the age of my house. I judged that JBR's quotation represented good value, given the scale of what was involved and the amount of materials required, and decided to proceed. 

JBR came out to do the work a few weeks ago. After erecting extensive scaffolding right around the house, a team of four men worked solidly to remove the 1970s eaves and to replace all the original cement tiles and felt on the roof. At 45 years old, the tiles were degraded, becoming porous and so losing their waterproofing. The JBR team then installed UPVC roofline at the eaves and fitted new guttering and downpipes. I noted how hard the guys worked over the four days they were here. I also appreciated that they cleaned up after themselves every day they were at the house. 

JBR did an excellent job and I plan to have them back next year to replace the flat roof above my garage and utility room.

JBR roofing, fitted our new roof ,  all the staff were polite and courteous,  the finished job was excellent and my property was really tidy after the scaffolding came down , which JBR s staff done as soon as the roof was finished,. Would highly recommend JBR. Thanks guys
