Genuinely nice guy. Great knowledge in all aspects of mini war gaming. Just a shame he doesn't like citadel/games-workshop and so doesn't sell it. Massive game room in the back for different daily events. Supplies of various mini wargaming materials and model buildings kits.

Absolutely lovely little shop. I needed scalpel blades for my artwork/modelling and they were available and well priced.  They didn't appear on the website, though it instructed to email, and the shop was prompt in reply, making it worth the trip.  The gentleman that served me was helpful, friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to go back and ask about stock.  I didn't get a proper look around but it was a well stocked, very tidy, proper model shop, full of Airfix, other kits, model paints, tapes and glue...bob on!

I love this shop. Great selection of models and everything that comes with making and painting them. Mr. Janco is a genuinely lovely man, and is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. If he doesn't have it in the shop he will get it for you. A real gentleman with time to talk to you and offer useful advice. This shop is why we still go to brick and mortar stores. You just can't get this level of service from the internet.

Colin is friendly helpful and full of advice on all your modelling and painting needs. Nothing is too much trouble

First visit today to purchase a couple of aircraft kits and a few bits and pieces. Genuinely impressed by the stock and friendliness of the owner. I am retired and this shop reminds me of the days 55 years ago when almost every small town had a toy shop selling Airfix kits. Those days are gone, this place is a treasure, pleased to support a local shop. Will be back soon

This is a great shop for model supplies and they stock some alternative miniatures lines. OK so they don't sell GW stuff but this is understandable as GWs method of dealing with small traders is known to be historically toxic. Colin is a fountain of knowledge and very friendly and approachable. I called in for what was supposed to be a quick pick up of paints, ended up chatting for half an hour and picked up some great tips. Colin offers a miniature painting service and his work is excellent, great attention to detail.

I absolutely love Janco Toys. Mr. Janco is extremely polite, knowledgeable, and willing to help in any way possible. I often spend time just having a chat with him. He has a large selection of all types of models, paint and equipment. If he doesn't have it in the shop, it will be ordered in promptly. There are other shops I could go to, but I live round the corner from Janco Toys, and I'm not sure a different shop could offer me the same customer experience as Janco Toys. This is the "brick and mortar" experience we want from actual shops. Mr. Janco is the perfect shopkeep. I salute you sir!

Excellent service from these guys. Col is never too busy to offer advice on anything you want to talk about. Great prices, friendly people. If you want models or modelling supplies this is the place.

Really pleased I discovered Jancotoys, absolute pleasure dealing with Colin, very helpful, Colin went the extra mile and beyond with the Scalextric set I bought for my son's Christmas present, ensuring it was all running smoothly prior to purchase and despatching same day. Great service, brilliant products.
