Fantastic restaurant with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great location and plenty of seating. All provisions for social distancing met. The food was exceptional and well priced too. A wonderful dining experience and also takeaway available too. Highly recommended, we'll certainly visit again. No faults whatsoever.
3/5 stars. I ordered a coconut rice, saag bhaji and a chicken tikka bhuna. Food arrived lukewarm/cold. The coconut rice was lovely. The chicken tikka pieces were good quality but the Bhuna sauce was bland and a little oily. The saag bhaji container was half empty so not a very good portion for the price. Not a bad meal, but I won’t reorder and will go back to my usual Indian, the red chilli by Victoria Park instead.
Accomadating a large group at short notice with great professionalism. Excellent service, amazing choice on the menu. And... it was delicious ! Well done Janata palace !
The service was great. Food absolutely stunning. 8 of us altogether and we all had a lovely meal. Definitely looking forward to going back.Food: 5/5
This my favourite spot for a cheeky curry . The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable but in all honesty you are getting a treat. The staff are very professional and polite and always helpful if you don't know what to have for food. If you have a big family or group of friends be sure to try this place out !!!!
Whether eating in or home delivery, best curry on Cardiff!!! Food is alaayxx as bang on point, in house service always customer orientated and staff dedicated to the best service they can give. Many claim for years that other older curry houses r the best, I say no way!!! Beautiful restaurant. Outstanding service, fantastic food, ur a fool if h don’t give it a try!!!!!

Fantastic little resteraunt, great staff, excellent food, we’re a very happy customer this evening.
Lovely place with some lovely food, chicken always tastes fresh and the spice of curries is always perfect. Any problems, these guys will sort it, no trouble at all. Went to collect and left without my poppadoms, then they delivered to the house super quick so I could enjoy them with the meal. Will definitely eat in soon! Thank you for the great meal.
