Lovely little cafe. Very, very reasonably priced food - four of us were fed and watered for £21. The soup and a sandwich is extremely good value at just £5. I was expecting a small bowl of soup and a small sandwich. What I got was a large sandwich and soup, and a small salad. It was very nice too. There were no free spaces in car park, so we had to park at the pub two minute walk up the road. We'll definitely be visiting again.

Wonderful little gem of a cafe serving delicacies and delicious Ringtons Teas and Coffees! Many recent people remember this as the old cycle cafe! Yet the new owners are delightful

Our 1st visit to Jan's Kitchen for a spot of lunch was 100% perfect. As far as Cafe food goes you can't do much better! We were greeted by warm smiles, friendly service and a very clean environment! We didn't have to wait long for a 'good quality' pot of tea followed shortly after by a delicious Lemon Crayfish Jacket Potato, super-fresh salad, authentic tasting mayonnaise and crunchy coleslaw! To be honest it's a combination of food we wouldn't ordinarily choose but tasted fantastic!! The Cafe was nice and busy so didn't lack atmosphere.... I guess the only picky criticism could be that a bit of background music would be a nice touch. To be really picky our table was a touch wobbly, but hey, for value for money and quality of food this place is well worth a 5 star review. Well done, and we WILL definitely be returning :-)

Lovely freshly made to order sandwiches and wraps great value friendly pleasant staff not overpriced highly recommend.
