Better than burger king but boy do you pay for the convenience. Had the chicken burger, was good. Burger and a drink came to £15 no fries. Nice enough place to wait for a flight but tables could do with more of a wipe as they were full of crumbs.
No sides available. Ordered 2 croissants and 2 burgers - got the burger order wrong! Wasn’t the only order they got wrong! There is only 3 burger options on the hot menu! Should have gone to Burger King next door!
I am surprised a great chef such as James Martin has put his name to such a kip. 3 burgers on the menu and not much else. Dodgy pre packed sandwiches and don't even have waffle fries even though they are on the menu. Man should be embarrassed to be involved with this
Fast friendly service. Bacon rolls are amazing. Loads of bacon and excellent coffee. Staff were friendly and the tables were cleared and cleaned regularly.
Pro: rarely any queues so can have a quick beer away from the busy terminal. Cons: Overpriced and Everytime I come here the vegetarian option is out of stock or one of the ingredients is missing. Interestingly they never run out of the other menu options. If they don't cater for vegetarians that's fine, just be honest about it. Go to burger King if you're hungry.
The burgers here are way better than Burger King next door, and there are enough tables so that you don't have to struggle to find one when the airport's busy. The staff is cordial and sweet, which is unusual for the typical assembly-line arrangements at most airport restaurants. The young man at the till named Colin was quite helpful. Not sure what others are on about with the poor reviews, this is a neat little place to get a filling meal and some respite.
Visited at lunch time prior to our flight. The restaurant was very busy and only one member of staff was serving up front. We have no complaints what so ever about his service as he had the whole restaurant to serve, clean tables and accommodate customers by himself. He did a wonderful job despite the pressure and was extremely polite. Our food was nice, despite not getting our original order as the kitchen had ran out of chicken burgers. We were asked if we would like to have a refund or swap to beef burgers, which we did. The restaurant was also running out of condiment bowls due to it being so busy. Overall, the food was nice and the waiter was really nice. The restaurant was just too busy and more staff would've made it a better experience.
Sharon was really nice and friendly, we had great coffees and the croissant was about as fresh as you can get. At the time we went it was also a nice quick option on the rush to our gate, if you have the time there's some nice hot food or if you're in a rush some cold sandwiches. I always make a point to stop in on my way through Glasgow airport.
Sitting in here doing the review as it's that bad. 15 min wait, told no chips and chicken burger is burnt and cold. Shameful for £22. Save you money for anywhere else. We thought it should be nice as it's James Martin. Totally opposite
We have a stopover at Glasgow Airport and hungry, spotted James Martin Kitchen. We have never been before but thoroughly recommend! The chicken burger was super, crispy and good relish. I also enjoyed the yoghurt and honey granola. Very pleasant staff too!
