Have eaten in at Jali before and always enjoyed it but had a takeaway from there last night and all other Indian takeaways I’ve tried in the UK pale in comparison. This is Indian cooking, not some watered down, extra sweet version. Final plus: Delivery was quicker than expected.
My partner & myself had meal here few hours ago & had great meal, server is very polite. Value for money.

Just visited jali for our last night in hastings. If happened to be a 30 second walk from the place we was staying at and all I can say is WOW! the food was absolutely out of this world and the waiters couldn't do any more for us. Made our last night so special!
Great food only let down by disappointing service. Not rude just a bit not with it. I would also say it was a bit pricey and perhaps I would not have been so kind with the score if it wasn't for the eat out to help out discount currently applied.
Really nice, good food and excellent service and with a baby and two small children I'm sure we weren't their easiest customers.
Not the finest quality of food for the price. Maybe the view is what you pay for. The lamb smelt off, the lassi I waited 20 minutes for was lukewarm. However, the Pani Puri, service and wine selection was pretty good.
