Not a fan of the taste of food here, it’s not terrible but just Dosent have that moreish taste, rice has been quite mushy on a few occasions. Sauces are not to the taste I like compared to other Chinese restaurants. Just need abit more flavour and passion in the food. It’s ok, just not yummmmm
Ok food turned up and driver had no change , the meal was 32 pound something so i gave him 40 quid in which he had a fiver change by surprise , food was slightly warm but when your hungry you eat, food was bland but the worse thing was some of the order was missing as we had ordered sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style but only received the sauce , very disappointing as this place was recommended to us and in which I cannot do the same

Best in town, never disappointed. Ignore the negative reviews, the staff are polite and understanding and will cater to your every need; when I started ordering 8-9 years ago, I had a nut allergy and they didn't hesitate to remove nuts from their dishes. I've since shaken the allergy but they still alert me of traces of nuts each time I order a new dish! They've recently upped the prices slightly but have increased the quality and quantity greatly, which in my opinion wasn't even needed! Honestly makes me feel a bit bad whenever Chinese restaurants open up in town as nothing compares to Jade River.

Another beautiful meal tonight from the folks at Jade River. Our number one choice for Chinese food in Bedfordshire. Always freshly prepared, piping hot, and great value along with generous portions and great customer service. 5 stars all the way.
Must try the Mongolian lamb! As someone who doesn't like duck, it's great to have the experience of pancakes, cucumber and spring onions. This is my new favourite Chinese since I moved to the area. Collecting food at night is easy enough with places to park nearby. Delivery also available. Give them a try next time you want Chinese.
