Walking into the restaurant, it's very dark but you soon get acclimatised. Initially given menus with no prices - ? We had to ask. The buffet menu. £25 pp. We had to ask for the alternative. Maybe that's just certain days. But. We then got what seemed to be the same menu but individually priced. Up to you. How much are you going to eat? There was some confusion regarding the 'Rainbow bean curd soup'. Still on the menu but apparently not available. I ordered the Beancurd with Chinese Vegetables, but specifically no carrots or baby corn they're not chinese veg anyway, but you have to check!. It was great but there was no leafy chinese veg choi sum etc which was a shame, but still really tasty, and some chilli oil gave the boiled rice a kick. But obvs that's my personal choice Oh how I wish restaurants would offer wholegrain/red/green/black rice as an alternative to white rice!! Also the meat eaters loved their choices especially the black bean sauce. Lovely restaurant, lovely food. Maybe a little pricey. Vegetarian options: The beancurd was really nice. Not over cooked the way some restaurants do!

Both 'All you can eat' and a la carte menu options are available. We opted for all you can eat, which is brought to your table. I booked ahead and a table was available immediately when we arrived. Duck and pancakes are also available as part of the all you can eat option. It was £19.99 per person plus a 10% service charge. Really nice food, good service, we will return soon.
I have been to Jade Palace many times and will continue to do so. The staff are lovely and the food is always excellent.Food: 5/5
The food was excellent, not as busy as I have seen previously which was nice as I felt like I could take my time a bit and enjoy the evening, my only criticism was that the staff were overly attentive, which then made me feel rushed instead of relaxed One waitress asks if we need anything or are ready for next courses etc or drinks, and as soon as they walked away from the table another one came and asked the same thing. I wouldn't have mentioned it but it was literally less than 10 seconds between the 2 A few more customers and that would probably not be an issue, I didn't let it spoil the night but it was a teeny bit frustrating
Always love this place, food is piping hot and very tasty, Staff are always friendly and helpful, agreeing to alter dishes and meet customers needs. Cost is reasonable and the all you can eat menu is comprehensive!

After being assured they did vegan dishes there was one on the menu. Set price menu of £23 but drinks were expensive. Not very friendly staff.
