It’s a Sunday around 11am, so a really long queue was expected. I would recommend getting a ticket via the app around 30-45 minutes before getting to the door. There were many no shows so the seating did sort of zoom by at times. Food was good. I was in stitches over the caution lava custard buns. The fuking fried rice was surprisingly good. I have never tried the XO Cheung fun before. It was a nice experience and compared to UK prices, this was very cheap.
Went for a family gathering brunch on Sunday and the queue was quite long, almost an hour before we could go in. It was quite crowded inside but I enjoyed the atmosphere and a sign things are recovering. The dimsum was good but not spectacular. However, one thing really stood out, the steamed fish tripe with shrimp was particularly delicious. Ordered the second serving but it took very long to come out. Staff was not very helpful as well when asked for more chilli. Service definitely could be improved.
Typical of what you can expect from a Maxim's Group Chinese Restaurant. The Dim Sum is dependable but not outstanding. The service exists but won't be considered attentive.
The long queue and wait were expected. The dim sum unexpectedly was a huge disappointment. Low quality of ingredients used. Poor culinary skills in dim sum dishes. The Har Gao and Siew Mai were letdowns. Was nostalgic to see the dim sum push carts but taste is more important than display.
A rebranded Maxim's restuarant Chiuchow and Shanghai restaurants on same floor are also Maxim's rebranded, Jade Garden's food is much better from this restaurant than the other two which is strange given they're the same company under different names. Jade Garden is also more popular with locals as there is frequently a queue mid morning here where the other two have spaces free. This is the restaurant which is on the very right side if you're facing all three restuarants and is so popular they have tables in the corridor xD Great for morning dim sum eating in particular, and is served from old style push trolleys. Service is great from the trolley staff and table cleaners, but is not good from desk and serving staff truthfully. Faster to pay your bill at the cashier than to get the bill at the table for morning sessions. Like most restuarants in Hong Kong, staff expect first time patrons to be psychic and to know to use a ticket machine when there's a queue and don't explain the system is there, other days there is no queue and you can just to walk in. I'd recommend this restaurant despite the many serving annoyances since the dim sum is really fresh and good. Be aware that prices here are a bit more than than others places though and can stretch quite a bit per person depending on what you eat. They serve all the old classic dim sum here, and some with more modern twists. The kitchen can't keep up with demand sometimes so if you're seated in a further location you'll have to get up and go to the trolley with your stamp card to get the dim sum before it sells out rather than wait for the trolley to come to you.

Came here for dinner and the quality is average. The Jade Garden from my childhood memory was much better.
