Actually really nice. Came across it by chance when staying over night for a work commitment. They do a 'tastwr menu' £22 and it's basically all you can wait for the majority of the menu just slightly smaller portions understandably But it turned out to be amazing food. Tasted very good quality and the staff were very friendly and helpful and attentive. I recommend anyone in the area to come try this place out too. It would make a great work meal.
Fantastic experience here. Eric and his staff were super friendly and helpful. The taster menu was amazing and so tasty, a really good idea. Great atmosphere would definitely recommend. Pity we live so far away , we need a restaurant like this on the wirral. However when we do return we will definitely visit here again, Kathy and Keith.
Excellent food and service. The owner Eric is very friendly and takes care of his customers. Went to try the taster menu as we were looking for a place to have a small get together for my son's birthday. We are definitely going back again!
Absolutely wonderful. The staff are fantastically welcoming and really took the time and care to recommend dishes they thought we would enjoy they were right, we did!. The taster menu, which we had, is excellent value for money. You can order whatever you like from the menu for the set cost of £26 on a Friday night. The food was incredible. Fresh and delicious. The portions were great and, as you can order as much as you like, if you want more of a particular dish you can ask for more. The vegetarian options are spectacular. The five spice asparagus - recommended to us by our server - was delicious. As was the vegetables as an alternative to the duck in pancakes. The sweet and sour prawns were a revelation - best I've ever had. However, as fantastic as the food is, it was the service that makes this restaurant a must! We cannot wait to go back. Thank you to everyone at Jade Mountain for a lovely evening.
The owner is lovely! We had the taster menu - a good deal at £26pp Mother’s Day when there’s a good few of you! Everything is cooked fresh so it can take a little while for it to get out to you, but I’d personally prefer that over things not being cooked freshly. Our slot was 12-2, but they took last orders for food at 2 and we didn’t depart until 3. Would definitely head back again
We went in for lunch. The food was really nice. We didn't even take any home which NEVER usually happens. We were the only people in there and the staff were very attentive. Really good value for money It was slightly too cold inside. Vegetarian options: Good veggie choices
The food was excellent. But we sat down at 17:30 and still had not received parts of our order at 21:30, the service was so delayed which was a shame as the food was great when it did arrive. The disabled toilet was full of boxes and there was no baby changing facilities. They kept taking more phone orders and seating more customers despite not being able to serve those already seated .
We had a belated Valentine's meal at the Garden last Friday. The welcome was really warm, the staff friendly and very efficient. The menu was quite extensive and the food excellent. Also, great value and a really first class evening. I will certainly visit and eat there again when visiting.Food: 5/5
The Jade Fountain offers a fresh buffet option as well as an a la carte menu option. We choose the buffet because all the food from the buffet menu is freshly prepared and served at your table. You can eat as much or as little as you like for a fixed price. There is a wide variety of dishes / choices. The food is of excellent quality. We would not hesitate to recommend the Jade Fountain! We will be returning there again very soon.
Wonderful selection of menu delights to choose from. I must admit I went for what I am comfortable with, but wished I had a double appetite to try other options. I will be back and had a try of something more adventurous. Great service and staff were as helpful as could be.Food: 5/5
