Hired JACOBS construction to build a new deck. They provided a very detailed and reasonable quote and finished the job ahead of schedule. Deck looks amazing and was very well constructed. Sven was very professional and a pleasure to deal with as well. Would highly recommend this company!
I had the pleasure of working with Sven and his team. I found him via a Google search and did not know what to expect. I was not disappointed. I can say Sven is an exceptional contractor and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, this experience was nothing short of fantastic. First and foremost, Sven's professionalism was evident from day one. He took the time to thoroughly discuss my project, providing valuable insights and suggestions to ensure the final design exceeded my expectations. Throughout the construction process, he maintained clear communication, keeping me updated on progress and addressing any questions or concerns promptly. The craftsmanship displayed in building my deck was truly remarkable. The attention to detail and commitment to quality were evident in every aspect of the project. Sven and his team even did interlocking and added sod as a finishing touch. I also appreciated their commitment to cleanliness and respect for my property. They left the work site tidy each day, which made the construction process hassle-free for me. My new deck has become a beloved addition to my home, thanks to Sven and his teams exceptional work.
Sven and his team built our family dream deck this past week. They go above and beyond with everything, ensuring all aspects are perfect. They were in constant communication with us to ensure we knew what was going on at each step. They demolished our old deck, built the new one and left our yard looking better then before they came. Sven and his crew were beyond friendly, professional and hard working. They took our vision of the deck and created it better than the design in our heads. I would strongly recommend them, and already have! Thank you again guys.
Sven and his team were such a pleasure to work with. Our project was a deck resurfacing job. Our existing structure was decent but needed some rework which his team was able to do and save me thousands of dollars. They took their time to replace what was unusable and corrected issues they saw with my existing structure. By the end of job the old deck felt like new again. We went with composite boards on the deck as well as with the skirting to close in the underneath of the deck. The two tone design was carried through from the top down to the skirting and it looks amazing. The way they tied it all in is top notch. Sven Jacobs and his team were a pleasure to work with and I’d hire them again for another project in a heartbeat.

Sven and his team did a wonderful job on our 2nd storey deck. Unlike many contractors, he actually listened to what we wanted, discussed a variety of options to not blow the budget, and brought our vision to life. They take their time to do the job right, as though they're building it for their own family. The finished project shows true pride in workmanship and puts all the neighboring decks to shame. We would definitely hire them again for other projects in the future. Thank you Sven!
We are very happy with the outcome of the job. Beautiful fence, and an absolute gorgeous patio/deck. The staff was professional and courteous. They cleaned up sawdust, tools etc. at the end of each day. You wouldn't know they were here. Would recommend Jacob's Contruction and Renos to everyone. Sven and his team did an awesome job on our backyard deck. The crews were professional and efficient and the final product is perfectly level and exactly what we wanted. Appreciate the team dealing with some tricky access to our yard, managing to work around exhaust pipes, and adding on a custom railing.
