Jackson's make the best meat pies, lovely flaky pastry and packed filling. Had the steak and kidney and lamb and leek, both amazing! The salad boxes for lunch are quality and excellent value for money.

They do roast dinner cobs which are fantastic. Bought a roast pork, stuffing, apple sauce one this week and went to eat it on a bench in the market. An old bloke passed by and clocked it and asked me where it came from cos he wanted one. Watch out for the crackling.

I called in late afternoon and the food left was very moreish and wonderful. Buy one and get one free is always a good thing and I was able to freeze the stuff I couldn't eat. I will be looking through the window again on my next visit to Chesterfield hoping to get more bargains. Well impressed.
