We love the fish and chips here. We do a long walk from Cheadle Hulme and restore the carbs with the best fish and chips around 😀

Working round the corner for the last 5 years I’ve been a regular at Jacksons. What was previously an award winning chippy is now possibly the worst I’ve ever had, very slow service and very little options. Extremely small portions and it was almost definitely not chipshop gravy more of a watered down Bisto. Such a great shame to see this once great chippy in such disarray. I wont be going back anytime soon.

standards are slipping, coming to this place for 2 years once a month and usually great, lately this has not been the case. ordered Pudding and chips with Gravy recently, Pudding was verging on uncooked, doughy and tough pastry, meat a little chewy.. Chips were chewy and tasted sour almost, must have not been cooked fully. Gravy was watery and not as full of flavour as normal. Love the chippy and the staff, i just think more care is needed over the quality coming out of the fryers!

New owners as of mid 2017 , very friendly , great food and quick with it aswell.
