Order was wrong when taken even after being checked by a second member of staff. I get it new staff need training but surely a 2nd person should be able to take the order correctly. Then when asked what was needed it was then cooked incorrectly and had to wait for additional food. Then I was charged incorrectly and over charged but I couldn't wait as kids needed to eat. When I got home they had missed out bacon on the burgers but OK I can live without that. Food was cold and had to be reheated, burgers had all the grease amalgamated in the top bun which was nasty. And had to cook more home chips for kids as they hadn't put them in the tub/box. Scampi was hot but wet/sweaty so all the breadcrumb came off. All in all not great. They were busy ill give them that... they also tried to get it right but didn't. Even after speaking to 3 members of staff.
Disappointed. Fish was super greasy and the chips looked like they had been sat for hours. Will give it the benefit of the doubt as we've had some great food in the past. Hopefully my next visit will provide a better eating experience.
A great fish and chippy. You can always tell a good chippy with how busy it is with customers. I'd ordered a large cod £6.10 and large chips £3, that was provided in box.

Really lovely service. Food took a little long to make so they upped the sizes of the chips to make up for it. You can get student discount with NUS. The chips where good. They do a veggie burger but I got cheesy chips.

It’s a popular joint for takeaway, the cod tastes so fresh, and I love their salt and pepper squid.
The service and atmosphere are pretty awful, but it's a chippy, so I wasn't expecting anything. The fish and chips though are definitely the best in the area.Food: 4/5
