Local, fresh, mostly organic and always delicious ice cream. Made in Cambridge, by Jack.

Story

After a life of making ice cream in restaurants and home kitchens I put everything I had into opening Jack's Gelato, back in 2010, and haven't looked back.
I strive for perfection, making everything by hand in small batches and utilising THE best ingredients: organic milk and cream, organic and fair trade cocoa, organic and fair trade Madagascan vanilla, fruit, herbs and the occasional vegetable from my allotment and the allotments of friends.

Beautiful and always delicious ice cream by handmade!
Tried their hot chocolate and it wasn't bad. However, nothing special and a bit over priced.
Amazing gelato. The flavours change so you never know what options you have available. Decent prices. Usually has a long queue but service is fast and staff is always friendly.
Hands down the best ice cream I've ever had. The selection of flavours is wide and varied, always innovative. I have to grab a scoop or two every time I'm in the area. The vegan selection is growing, but it's still in the vast minority. Would love to see this grow more in the near future.
Really really really good smooth creamy ice cream - even the vegan ones! We had chocolate and sea salt, salted treacle and condensed milk - all of them had so much flavour! And tried a taster of the strawberries and cream which you could really taste the strawberries! Highly recommend
Really good gelato and Hot chocolate! 4 stars because there were limited flavors because of covid/lockdown or something..
We had chocolate coconut & purple fig almond and roasted banana &mango sorbet. All four of them amazing. Especially the roasted banana not artificial at all and chocolate coconut a great change up of the traditional flavour were amazing
