Popped in just as food service was ending, but the staff kindly seated us and took a quick food order. Service was friendly and sharp. The decor is traditional English pub. Food was top-notch and not too steeply priced either.

Solid restaurant experience. A grade above gastro and more fine dining. The mushroom risotto was divine!

Lots of well arranged dining tables in separate cosy rooms. A nice lounge area near the bar to sit in while you order your food and drinks. Ceilings are low adding to the classic cosy pub feel although this is tastefully refreshed with modern paint and interesting pictures on the walls. Toilet facilities were clean and bright. Including baby changing. The food was good and although portions looked diminutive they were filling. The service was excellent!! Presentation was also very good. Good selection of local brews and plenty of parking around the back. A good place to eat as a couple or with a large group.

Almost 4 stars but we were invisible to staff in the bar. Much more attentive in the restaurant and nice food. Surprisingly limited menu choice.

Really lovely food with attention to detail. Really friendly and relax service and the host seemed genuinly interested in us. We will be back. Thank you for making my birthday extra special!
