£1.15 for a packet of crisps, 50p for a slice of toast, £1 for a cookie all this and serviced by unhappy staff. I would pay high prices if the staff were friendly or "pleasent on the eye" but you start to resent it when the "buying experience" is depressing. Having said that atmosphere changes completely when the owner is there - maybe a change of staff is needed to give the place a boost!
