One of the better shops in looe if your into bloke stuff. Lots of fishing tackle, knives etc but also some nice gifts. Interesting shop. Thought the prices were reasonable. I don't recognise the reviews of rude unhelpful staff. Thought the old codger was decent and the younger woman to. Will visit again.

Bad reviews here but I risked it and popped in to buy a buck folding knife. Owners/staff was very pleasant even though there kid was being a little pain for them. The lady even knocked the price down for me (or she typed it in wrong)... Next visit to looe I will go visit this shop again to buy fishing kit and catch me some fish! ;(I was working on my visit so didn't have chance to go fishing) lovely place

I found the staff to be quite pleasant the tall attractive lady that served me was most helpful I have visited this shop several times over the past few years and found the staff chatty and friendly

I have experienced the same problem. The counter staff were ARROGANT and unhelpful. They sneered at my enquiry and made me feel like I was unwelcome asking them about a product I was going to purchase. The two female staff spoke to me like I was stupid and acted like I had offended them for asking a valid question nicely. This is not the way to speak to anyone, let alone customers and I will NOT be returning to them or be telling people to visit them. Don't give these people your money!

The counter staff there were arrogant and unhelpful. They sneered at my enquiry and made me feel like I was unwelcome asking them about a product I was going to purchase. The older gentleman commented on my query with ridicule and the younger woman spoke to me like I was asking a stupid question. This is not the way to speak to customers and I will NOT be returning to them or tell people to visit them.
