I instructed J Lee Construction Ltd to replace our felt flat roof following a leak late 2021. The advice we received was to replace with fibre glass. We have had three subsequent leaks in the year after work was done. The first two the company came out to attempt to address this. But recently having got in touch yet again following a bad leak, things turned sour, being told we’d be charged despite having a ‘10 year guarantee’. We’ve since been told by several roof specialists that there were two basic fundamental oversights in the installation and therefore prone to this happening. Highly disappointing and frustrating after paying a significant amount of money originally. Completely worthless guarantee and an unprofessional company ignoring our calls and taking zero responsibility for the situation. We are now in a position where we have to pay another company to find a solution to this problem as source a decorator for a third time. Also pursuing with Checkatrade despite no current membership.
