what can I say about this place been using it for last few years family run business meat beautiful fresh. Sandwiches are amazing and better than a meal deal from sainsburys fresh bread or cobs bacon no fat comes out when cooking and lashford sausage are the best all the staff are lovely and make you feel welcome it is worth the taxi fare to get there and back for me
Used to love this place. Rang up to place my order which was a very big order, arrived, waited outside in queue due to covid measures, everyone was served in line, came to my turn, I was ignored and just looked at, more workers queued up, they were served first, the man then walked back into the shop! ..anyway im still standing there waiting to be served, yet again ignored, it wasn't until a lady who worked in the shop said serve that lady she's been there awhile, I was then served! My last experience with them was awful so I won't be returning! Called up to place order, asked for total, i had to wait for a different man to tell me prices...he picked up the phone, asked again for total of order, I was told  'ergh I have a que!" Anyway he told me all the prices individually. Then said it would be a 45 minute wait! I was very shocked at the level of service I received on my last 2 visits here. Like I say they are normally pretty good, and sandwiches are very tasty. But unfortunately I won't be returning. If you're a worker, in uniform you will love this place. If you're just a normal customer be prepared to wait and seen once all workers have been served... even the ones who arrive after you....
Great meat with a friendly service, sanwiches are lovely too. Not many local butchers left these days, use it or lose it!
Top quality meat and sandwich’s and service , Home made sausages are something special , We travel 20 mile round trip to use them And it’s worth the journey every week.
Heard about this butcher from family who lives close by went on 9/10/21to buy some beef had it last night all I can say is WONDERFUL TENDER MEAT LIKE IT USED TO BE BACK IN THE DAY WILL BE GOING BACK AGAIN SOON
