Disappointed! The pub could have been so much nicer. The tables were dirty, the plates and glasses remained uncleared. Not welcoming and hard to get comfortable in. I have to say in fairness to the place, the food was good and the cost of both food and drinks were very good value. One to make your own mind up about I think, just be prepared to clear your own table!

Cold food after it being left on hot plate for 10 minutes before staff picked it up to bring it to us. When told it was cold said they'd tell "chef" wasn't his fault did his part was front of house staff that let him down. Terrible attitude from staff when complained. Not the best visit we've had in there.

Friendly service. Could have been cleaner and very slow to clear tables. Food was warm enough but not hot.

Overcooked chicken. Oven chips. Soggy bacon. Got the order wrong. Cask real ale never really tastes as it should. Great selention of ales n gin. Very noisy in bar.
