The busiest chip shop i know with great service from the friendly staff and the best fish and chip I've ever had. Moved to the area a few years ago and I've never had a bad experience. A very well run chip shop.

Nice fish and chips from Bennett’s plus good portion size as well, have a good selection of other foods available but the chicken burger isn’t something to shout about as it was a very sad looking chicken burger that got whacked together (hence the 4 stars). Can get a big queue so keep that in mind

They pre cook too much. Bought 4 small cod - odd that one was large as they never give anything away for nothing. Now I know why. It must have been sitting in the hot cabinet for ages. Tough and rubbery. They obviously wanted to get rid of it. Won't be going there again. Try wetherspoons - good fish freshly cooked and brought to your table.

Best fish and chips in Crowborough, gets very busy so can be a bit of a wait for food at peak times but plenty of turnover means freshly cooked food.

The chips were ok, quite a few stuck to the bag and the person got the order wrong (granted I should have checked...). Fish had skin on it with some small bones (no problem if you like that sort of thing) Still... chips were nice enough and good portions. Oh - and there was no curry sauce served!
