Second year we are renting using J Aland. Amazing service from Jayne. Quick replies to emails, very informative and approachable. Would totally recommend J Aland as your letting agency in Bath.

Professional and thorough agency. Very clean and well kept property. Very quick to action any queries. There are fees and a bit of paperwork, but this is similar to any letting agency. It is clear from the beginning in your contract what the fees are. Would recommend to students.

Students beware! - be ready to get ripped off! J Aland will cripple you with extortionate hidden fees all over the show. House was dirty when we moved in. Complaints not taken seriously. Jayne is very condesending. Lacking in common sense and common decency to fellow human beings. Don't bother paying your last month's rent, you won't be getting your deposit back anyway, no matter how clean your house is. Can't understand the average star rating. Perhaps it's the landlords and contractors who get away with daylight robbery giving the good reviews.

Stayed with J Åland for 2 years while at Uni and they were great, any issues we had were sorted immediately and the house was much nicer than other student houses we'd seen. Thanks Jayne!

I have found that everything the agency does is very by the book and there is no cutting corners. This gave me a lot of confidence and any time I had an issue, Jayne was quick to respond and get it resolved painlessly which is often not the case when renting in Bath as many Bath agencies feel they do not need to take students seriously. The agency keeps in regular communication with tenants regarding work and general information which is really nice! The apartment itself was great and very well maintained. I moved in during early summer and had painters arriving to paint the tiniest marks of some walls! They defintely take great care in maintaining the high standards of their properties. Will definitely rent from J Aland again in future university years.
