"When William and Eileen Sinclair started at Ivybank Veterinary Clinic in 1986 there was work for one vet, one un-qualified nursing assistant, a part-time receptionist and a cleaner.Over the years they have grown the practice, acquired an additional partner, Rosie Sorrie, and in 2012 merged with Village Vets, expanding our services across Ayrshire as Ivybank Vets. We now have 9 vets, 5 vet nurses, 8 receptionists and 2 animal nursing assistants providing care for your pets across our three clinics. We have a range of facilities and services available to you, our clients, to help keep your pets healthy and treat them should they fall ill. We are an RCVS accredited practice and a Vet Nurse Training Practice."

A good practice, friendly staff. Small waiting area which I wouldn't have liked if there were dogs there, however we weren't waiting long at all. Vet was thorough, explaining everything to me about a concern he had for my cat. Told me what the costs would be etc. and outlining potential treatments.
Such a friendly and helpful team. Always a pleasure to visit. The pet health club is great too - love the text reminders and quick online ordering for flea/worm treatments. I would highly recommend this practice.
Joined this practice when I moved into the area. The staff have always been welcoming, informative and patient. Lynsey the vet has a lovely manner, explains optional approaches and costs and doesn't make you feel rushed..
Rang up about an illness to my pet, explained the symptoms to them. Reply back we not sure how to treat this, can you ring, and I quote "Pets At Home to see if they could help with the treatment". That's not very good, ring Vets for advice and that was the response does not feel you with confidence.
I am absolutely overwhelmed by the welcome and care that Ollie, my Collie, got this morning after tearing a Dew claw. I am visiting Killwinning from North Yorkshire. So grateful
My 14month old collie was booked in for her booster. She can be quite a handful, very anxious and very active brain. Laura, the vet took time to engage well with my dog and she provided great practical advice. I left feeling more positive about training options very pleased with support provided by Laura. Ivybank is a local veterinary practice staffed by welcoming staff and I would highly recommend it to all pet owners.
Very clean premises. Made a big fuss about my dog which Fern loves and all the staff and vet were great. Helpful with pet plan information and gave myself information on dog insurance.
All the staff were very friendly and caring in my grief at losing my lovely misha.i loved also they sent me a sympathy card as well.its hard losing misha.she was 18 1/2 years old beautiful exotic cat.i miss her terribly.i shall always love and never forget her, thanks to ivy banks kilwinning vets.
Make s myself and my wee furbaby very at easy because my wee dog is very nervous at vets . And all the staff are so lovely at ivy vet s in kilwinning xxx
Fantastic vets. Everyone is so caring and they genuinely put the animals first before money and that’s what you need from a vets. We had to put our cocker spaniel to sleep yesterday and Lindsay Callan the vet was new to us, however she was excellent and made what was a heart breaking experience and choice made so graceful. She was lovely and we will never forget the kindness she expressed with us.
