After being with IVC for less than a year i can honestly say i have never felt so supported and encouraged to grow. I have been made to feel like one of the family from the start by our fabulous recruitment team. Amazing company with fantastic values.
I have worked for IVC Evidensia twice. I started with IVC Evidensia back in 2016 for just short of two years and rejoined again in early 2019. I have worked in both practice and remotely for head office. I can honestly say its the best company I have ever worked for. So much so that I could not wait to return the second time around. My team & managers are amazing. I am passionate about how great IVC Evidensia is and I feel lucky to work for this brilliant company!
I joined an IVC practice when the company was just starting out. I was 2 years into my career and found myself, accidentally, with in a 'corporate' practice. If I hadn't been told, I wouldn't have known! Far from a negative and clinically restricted environment one hears about at other such companies, I found it to be encouraging and nurturing at an important point in my career. They have listened to my ideas and career ambitions and provided a structure for me to achieve those much before I ever expected.nnHaving been supported through a certificate in small animal surgery I was then offered the opportunity to take charge of my very own practice, as they were aware of my interest in business and management. I never expected to be in this position at the age of 29, but they showed faith in my abilities which was hugely encouraging. Though daunting and undoubtedly hard work I have never felt on my own or out of my depth or at least not for too long!. I was put on a leadership course and have been supported to grow the practice exactly as I saw fit.nnGreat company, and genuinely interested in the customer and patient experience as well as its staff. You really feel part of something bigger and worthwhile, whilst also having the haven of your own little 'independent' practice where you are left to work as you see fit.
I've been working for Independent Vetcare for 18months now, and absolutely love my job. I've never worked with a better team, with everyone so keen to help each other do the best job possible. Of course there are occasional glitches, where are there not? but when they happen everyone mucks straight in to make sure they're fixed as soon as possible. Fantastic.
I sold my Practice that I had built up and cherished over the 35 years of my working career to Independent Vetcare back in November 2012 . At that time I looked for a company that was going to look after my loyal staff and continue to invest in the Practice , both in terms of Veterinary education and equipment, in order to continue to provide high quality Veterinary care to my many loyal clients. Independent Vetcare have been true to their word and the Practice has gone from strength to strength over the last 3 1/2 years and I am now convinced it will continue to do so in the future . I am more than satisfied that my decision to sell to this company was the correct one .
