I went for a group meal of around 20 people and we had an excellent night. The team at Istanbul Restaurant Blackburn made the event really easy to plan. When we arrived, they were super organised. The starters were delicious and the main courses came out really quickly. Everyone I spoke to in the group enjoyed the food, thought it was good value, and said the staff were helpful and friendly. Overall, an excellent night with nothing that could be improved. I can't wait to go back!
To be honest, the food was not that good I expected. The chicken was not fresh enough. But the sides were really nice specially bread and yoghurt. But, the lady who was serving me I think her name was Saeedeh was really respectful and kind and regularly asked me if I need anything. In general, everything was nice for my only day in Blackburn.
This is the second time I've come to this restaurant. I ordered the king prawn with rice this time and honestly I love it!! The food is amazing and the service is amazing. The staff are incredible . Highly recommended and I will be going again hopefully with my family next time.nnSadly I cant give this restaurant more then one review. So ill just add new pictures each time I go.nnIf you are wondering whether to give this place a chance. Definitely go for it. You wont be disappointed.
Me and my husband came here for Turkish as we have never been here before. The food I would say is average, there's nothing really special about it, it just tastes like a normal Turkish Resturant.nnWe ordered the mixed platter for 2, and there was more than enough we had left overs for the next day, I would say it can easily feed 3 people maybe 4 if you all have a small appetite and get a starter.
First visit here, I ordered the platter for two, I have to say that the food was amazing! Everything was well cooked and full of flavours.. lots of seating nice atmosphere and very friendly staff! It's definitely worth a visit.. I would be going again for sure. Top quality Turkish food . Highly recommended, baklava with ice cream and Turkish tea to finish off definitely.nnI have now been so many times I've lost count! Best Turkish food in town.!! Definitely!
