I took my family after looking at the reviews and decided to give this place a try after finishing up at Trafford Centre. Accessing the front door was a bit difficult as my son is a wheelchair user and the incline in the foyer is a bit steep, but we managed to get inside. The atmosphere was nice and the decor is modern. It's spacious too. The food was fresh and tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed the sirloin steak and the mixed grill. Everything was hot. The service was great too. Not too sure if I'd go back again but was a great first time experience.
Fabulous place, amazing delicious food and excellent service! Very near to Urmston train station. The place is so large and spacious you can go with your family enough space for kids : The music is such a classic. The food was top class - you could tell the ingredients were great quality and the chefs take great pride to create really tasty food. The menu items weren’t all the ordinary ones the best Mediterranean food especially Turkish Food. I am vegetarian and they have a great deal of veg dishes. The staff were so kind and fast. I had veggie Moussaka and tzatziki the flavours were amazing! The desserts were also so fresh like my mom cooked. Other good things: friendly, helpful staff the owners came over to chat to us to check we were happy with everything bar area is lovely and it has open doors for those warmer eves great wine choices meticulously clean table, toilets and glassware very reasonably priced for the food quality and eye catching decorations. Good for birthday parties. Definitely I will go again.
I can't believe I haven't been before. Booked in with my partner, her son and girlfriend. Nice welcome on arrival. Pleasant atmosphere. Great tasting food and service. Prices very reasonable for such good portions. Able to park locally on a side road. Thank you for a lovely evening. Will be returning.Food: 5/5
The food was amazing. Soft tender and the right amount. Service was a little down but it was very quiet so . Atmosphere was dead, we were the one customers there, was a little cold. Otherwise food was great.Food: 5/5
Had a very nice dinner early evening. The staff were great and the food was lovely and tasty. The lighting is amazing and colourful. We have booked to return.Food: 4/5
The all round experience at the Istanbul Grill was excellent. The food was great and plentiful as well as reasonably priced. The Long Island cocktail got a big thumbs up from my partner and the entertainment was great too. Will be back soon
We tried this restaurant for the first time , it was amazing, a really nice seating area, spacious, friendly staff, we ordered a mixed grill, which was a decent portion, we shared it between me and my husband and we got full, the lemonade was so refreshing, they have a good kids menu also. Would definitely recommend it.
Never going here again!! unfortunately i've had to give 1 star we booked a table for a Bob Marley tribute night £30 per head for starter and main. If you wasn't aware the place of origin for a Doner Kebab is Istanbul, Turkey. I ordered a Doner Kebab from the set menu with chips, expecting something really special a plate of horrible boiled meat turned up without either a pita bread or flat bread now my idea of Doner Kebab is meat and salad wrapped in flatbread or inside a pita. Having paid £30 a head, bare in mind this Kebab is on the normal menu and only £14.95 I asked the waiter if i could have a flat bread or Pita to make my kebab complete he said sure, he came back with crusty bread cut in slices really!! £30 for about 10 chips on plate with boiled horrible meat waiter then told me the proper flatbread is only available on take away's JOKE!!. The wife ordered the meat Musaka and threw the lot up when she got home. I went into the gents to find urine and paper all over the toilet seat Nice!! If your going to put a tribute night on the least you can do is get the food right and clean the toilets now and again. The extra surprise is when the bill came £20 service charge which isn't optional that's your bill pay it. Don't mind leaving a tip if food and service was good but this place is a joke.
Great food and service, we are definitely going back, thank you for a lovely meal and experience!
First time visit to this place. Booked online and had to check via phone for confirmation of table for 5 at 6pm. Arrived and they weren’t expecting us but fair play they seated us. Massive place if you remember Terrys was a furniture warehouse. Decor is great, large arched ceiling, DJ and speakers giving great atmosphere. However if you don’t like crowds and loud music it’s not for you. No chance to have a little chat over a slow meal. Hummous and thick fresh bread was good whilst choosing from a great menu if you have some people in your family who don’t like Turkish and want pizza or pasta. No sooner had the order been taken our starters arrived on a school dinner trolley, practical but not a good look. They were that quick we thought they had the wrong table. Clearly all sat waiting in the back kitchen. Would explain why the meatballs were cold. Mains arrived in same way although we did ask to slow down as felt rushed. Pizza and garlic bread great, mixed grill was nicely presented but all meat was dry not juicy and flavoursome. The ‘meat’ that the lamb chop, chicken piece, kebab and meatball was sat on was very unusual, see photo, assuming this was doner meat but couldn’t bring myself to try it. Overall great atmosphere for parties, especially when lovely belly dancer makes her way around the tables. Most staff are friendly and helpful. Drinks are great if a little slow. Place is clean and tidy. Music is very loud even in toilets. So difficult to ring for a taxi afterwards. Great idea but think they’ve overstretched themselves and quality suffers over quantity. Nice that they send you home with doggy bag. Maybe midweek might be better when not as busy.
